Mega Meet in Michigan

Yesterday I went to the big Mega Meet in Michigan, its a large scrapbook show for consumers. Its open from 10-6 and I was there ALL day. I had a great time meeting Carrie face-to-face who is the editor for Michigan Scrapbooker Magazine and I also met one of the ladies I chat with on a message board I frequent. It was great meeting you two ladies.

There were tons of booths and some unbelievable deals. Two of the best deals were from Queen & Co. and also Heidi Swapp. Fab deals from both manufacturers. The picture is of my goodies from the Heidi Swapp booth.

I won a prize in Mother's Day Card Challenge

I participated in a Mother's Day Card Challenge for National Scrapbook Day and I won a runner's up prize. I'm sooooo excited. The Design Team voted on the entries and the other card won 1st place by only one vote, darn. I can't wait to see what the prize is. I will post the card after Mother's Day.

I had a busy weekend of scrapping. One of the message boards I frequent Scrap 4 Life was having a cyber crop and auction, what fun! I got a ton of challenges done and even a card for mother's day. Wow its done a whole week in advance. I won't post the card until after Mother's Day don't want the receiver to see it. The Turkey time LO was just one of the sketch challenges I completed. Now that the weekend is over maybe I can relax a bit, but I doubt it with 3 kids running around.

4 Card Challenge

The challenge was to make 4 cards all different sizes and with a different sentiment on them. This was the first time I made any cards I was amazed at how quickly I was able to make them. I know which one is my favorite, but let me know which one you like best.

The Magazine FINALLY came out!

I'm so excited. I just got a copy of the Premier Issue of Michigan Scrapbooker Magazine. I have a step by step article and layout in the Magazine. Its so nice to finally see it in print. Its a FREE magazine for scrappers in Michigan you can pick them up at your local scrapbook store. They are also going to be available at the big Mega Meet in Novi on May 8-10.
