Things I did this summer

I scrapped, of course
Was on the computer checking out scrapping MB
Wrote an article for a scrapbook mag
jumped on the trampoline
watched the kids play on the slip n slide
and in a pirate pool
went out to dinner with a friend
Went to movies with kids and saw WallE
Went to movies without kids and saw What happens in Vegas
Had 5 birthday cakes
Went to a moving out of State get together
Had a barbque
was obsessed with watching the Olympics
Went to Farmers Market
Let kids play in the water at city center
Caught up with an old friend from high school
Had a Garage Sale

I made it to the final 10

in the scrapgoods contest. I'm so excited. This week the challenge was not a square LO, use a bird, and buttons. I'm not a big bird person so I went with the nature theme so the bird would work for me. I love how this came out. Can't wait for the announcement on Thursday I hope I move on to the next round.

I made my first DT!!!!

OMG!!!! I am so excited I found out I just made my first DT!!!! I am so proud to be chosen and can't wait to get started. Scrappy Mail

I received 2 RAKs this week. I just love scrappy mail. The one was a set of Alphabet stamps and the other was sayings stamps ex. Greetings, Happy bday and more. Thanks ladies they are both great!!! I already used one already!

Wow I can't believe my baby is 9 now. Happy Birthday!!!! Here are a couple pics. She got a ton of clothes which is needed and this cute Hannah Montana hat.

Half way to goal plus a RAK!!!!

OK Ladies I made a scrappy goal at the beginning of the year (first year I have done this). What was my goal you ask??? To make 250 layouts, at least 1 card and a mini album and an altered item. So I've made about 10 cards, a mini album, some altered letters (kids initals) and last night I completed 125 layouts, YEAH!!!!! So I am half way to my goal and its only a few days past the middle of the year. So I'm happy with my progress so I decided to do a RAK to celebrate. To enter all you need to do is leave a comment on this post! I will leave it open til Sunday. Good Luck ladies!!! Want to see the halfway layout. I did this for a challenge -Surprise, Surprise right. The challenge was use I believe in your title. So I did a xmas LO around 4th of July, the two holidays are VERY opposite!! LOL!
