Weekend Crop

OK There was an online crop at Scrapperie this weekend. I had a garage sale I was planning for, got rained out, had friends over Saturday because they were going to be selling stuff at the garage sale too, but ended up getting quite a few layouts done. I was happy with as much as I got done. Still have today to finish up, but have more company coming from out of state so hopefully I will be able to get at least one more done.

This was from the sketch challenge from Ally from SO Sketchy. My DS is looking through the binoculars the wrong way.

This challenge was a monochromatic challenge. If it was a pic of a girl layout must be blue. If it was a pic of a boy layout must be pink. I figured it would be less tramatic for my kids to do the girl page.

This challenge was do a page about your hubby or significant other.

This challenge was to use Green, Black, and White only.

This challenge was use Brown and Orange, and have at least 3 layers.

New Magazine Blog

Happy Father's Day!!

Happy Father's Day today to all the men in your life!!! I made a card for my husband and then forgot to have the kids sign it. So I had my daughter sign it after he opened it. She signed it beautifully I was standing right next to her thinking who is signing this card because it can't be my 8 year old who comes home from school with barely legible handwriting. Here is the card I made him.

2 Sketches 4 You challenge #2

Here is my card for this challenge. I made this card Saturday before going to a surprise going away party. One of my cousins is moving to Las Vegas, she got the card and I finished another challenge.

Tyler turns 4 today! He went to the store and got to pick out his own cake. He bought a Yummy looking cake with Strawberries on top!! Can't wait to have some. I'll post pics tomorrow or Monday!!!

Scrapdragon Challenge #18

The challenge was to scarplift from one of the DT. I chose Niki from Challenge #7. I lifted the way she curved the flowers across the page, placement of the title as well.

Supplies: Crate paper, title letters-AC, flowers-prima, creative impressions.

YEAH!!! I won a prize from the online crop I participated in two weekends ago from http://ymbd.blogspot.com/. I got a ton of layouts completed plus won something that is so great!!! I also won one of the monthly challenges for May so I will have two prizes coming.

My Baby is 2 today!

Happy Birthday Cameron!!! Its hard to believe my baby is 2 already. We got him this 911 vehicle, he loved it and didn't want to get out of it. Which made Tyler very unhappy because he wanted to play in it too. We kept telling Tyler its Cameron's birthday and its his toy. Tyler's b-day is next week he informed us he wants the same toy that Cameron got. Then we had cupcakes and ice cream, perfect. Now I don't have half a cake sitting around tempting me to eat it.

Page Plans Sketch #7

Here is my take on the sketch from Page plans this week. The supplies were all from the May kit at scrapbook heaven. It was such a fun kit to play with.

I took one of the pages from the mini album from maya road and cut it to use for the title. First I inked it so it wasn't so see thru then I tried to emboss the title but the embossing ink stuck to the whole thing because of the ink to make it darker so I ended up just tracing the title with a slick writer.

I got two layouts picked up for an ezine!!

Woohoo!!! I'm excited I just found out that 2 of my layouts got picked up for an ezine. Online crop last weekend

I participated in an online crop last weekend at your memories by design, it was tons of fun and i got a lot of LO's completed. The last LO I created for the crop I uploaded with about 5 minutes to spare (it was pop century hotel). However I was so exhausted from it and my brain so fried from creating so many LO's I had to relax for the past two days.

I uploaded just a few of my creations from the crop. The "beauty" LO was make a circle lo. 'pop century hotel' was use at least 6 pics challenge. 'hiding' was a sketch challenge and 'sleeping dog' was use just one close up photo.

Mini Catastrophe!

UGHHHH!!! Its been raining here for at least 4 hours and it was raining really hard, well because of all the rain we had a leak in our basement (first time this happened). Luckily DD went downstairs and we got it cleaned up before it caused a lot of damage. Unfortunately its still raining, also the leak was in my scrap area, OF COURSE!!!! One album was on the floor because the 2 yr old likes to look through the albums. It got wet. I picked it up off the floor took the album apart and wiped off all the page protectors. I will sadly through the album covers away, I don't want to worry about mildew in my album. I took the posts out and connected the page protectors together, its still an album it just has no cover right now. Well at least it wasn't worse, and hopefully it will stop raining!!!
