MSW Apr DT Reveal & Lily Bee Sketch

I've created a few cards lately so I thought this would be a good post to showcase them. Its April 1st so that means its time for the MSW reveals for this month. Here is the wonderful card sketch that Lucy created this month, she also creates a layout sketch that is posted on the 1st as well.

I had lots of fun creating this card. I have been in love with using doillies lately but I rarely leave them alone. I just love adding some Glimmer Mist to them. I added some great flowers which are really brads from American Crafts. A Sassafras border, don't you just love the borders on those Sass papers, a piece of scrap from Crate Paper and of course a Rubon sentiment.

Monthly Challenge
Its my month to post a card challenge over at MSW so my challenge this month is to use Rubons. I know lots of people like using stamps for cards but I LOVE using rubons for cards. Its one of the few times I actually use the BIG stash of rubons that I have. So let's see what you can create with a rubon and post it over at MSW.

Here is my card for my challenge. The papers used on this card are like 3-4 years old, wait everything on this card except for the Basic Grey label I have had for at least 2 or 3 years, it does feel good to use up REALLY OLD stash. After putting the card together I decided to add a birthday embellie to it, wasn't sure what I was going to use. I can't believe how perfectly the present embellie works with the papers. I never even looked at the birthday stuff til everything else was done - how crazy is that.

Reminisce is having a party on their blog. You have to create something using 2 Reminisce products. I only have bits and pieces of Reminisce supplies so I created this Game Day party invitation.

Supplies: Reminisce Green Day Paper, Green Day Stickers, Reminisce Signature Series Football Stickers, Sassafras Sticker, Bo Bunny Bling, Doodlebug alphas, Kraft Cardstock, Fiskars Punch

OOPS, I forgot to post last months card from MSW. I love using up scraps to create cards don't you. I usually go through my cropper hopper when I start to make cards and pull out tons of stuff til something comes together.

I ended up turning the sketch, it worked with my paper scraps better, LOL!!

Lily Bee Sketch
I know its not a card but Lily Bee posted a sketch on their blog and I jumped right on the challenge. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Hello Sunshine line and when Lily Bee had their warehouse sale I bought a box and got more of this fantastic line of course the box was filled with lots of goodies but this line is my FAV!!!

Besides the Lily Bee I added a light spray of Glimmer Mist to the cardstock, distressed the edges of the papers and created a couple embellie clusters.

Here are a couple of closeup/detail shots also.

There is still time to enter to win the RAK. I will pick a winner on Saturday. Interested in entering see the post below. Thanks soooooo much to all the wonderful ladies who have commented already!!
